Sopor de Âme Pt. 1
Sopor de Âme Pt. 1 is an animated music video about a girl's internal battle with her worst enemy: whilst dreaming she is dragged into the deep depths of her soul to face her shadow subconscious self.
As both an artist and musician my aim was to combine my creative skills to tell a visually and aurally exciting story about an abstract concept. The concept of this piece was largely inspired by Carl Jung's comments on the shadow self, whilst tone and design were influenced by the heavy metal genre of music and Yoruba, Nigerian tribe, body art.
I pitched this original concept at university and took the idea through all the areas of the production pipeline.
